As we began the search, we had the privilege this year of teaming up with Muskoka real-estate expert Colleen Jeffrey. With a professional and friendly conduct built on approachability and coherency, we truly valued having Colleen with us on this journey. Colleen was able to provide answers to all our questions, and go above and beyond in our search for a very unique home setup involving yard space, a walk-out in-law suite, and other specificity-challenges. Colleen rose to the task and was able to find us multiple locations that met these difficult requirements. Colleen also answered every call we had, even on weekends and later hours, and was always willing to get us any info we needed, even if not immediately on hand. Once our journey with Colleen found us the perfect place, she was able to expedite processing and get us in the door faster than we thought possible, and her knowledge of local pricing was perfect in getting us in the right position to save money on a reasonable offer. On the flip side of things, selling our previous home was also a breeze with Colleen involved. Colleen was able to assess the market patterns and make timely recommendations for us that ended up producing an unprecedented volume of viewings in a single week. Colleen’s experience in this space also pushed us into pricing competitively and appropriately which generated offers way above expectations. Both sides of the buyer/seller equation involved some complex paperwork, but Colleen made the time to sit with us for as long as it took to read through carefully each section and explain it in layman terms so that we could follow along properly–something we can say does not always happen with some industry reps in this sector. We are beyond happy with our new home, and found saying goodbye to our old home much easier thanks to Colleen’s direct involvement.
